Audrey Moore from Audrey Helps Actors is back on the One Broke Actress podcast! She can also be seen staring in several Emmy nominated shows such as Dopesick, Better Call Saul, Godless, and Feud. She loves nap time, making her own clothes, and eating at Chilis. As proud as she is of her life’s work, she owes most of it to her husband who is a patient man. In this clip of episode, Audrey opens up about the pressures she’s faced and the expectations she puts on herself as her name recognition has grown.
Sam Valentine: But it feels good to meet the people that I’ve been talking to online for years. It makes it a little more real.
Audrey Moore: Yeah, I also really enjoy that. I do feel like the pressure, to me, is actually just kind of the pressure I, period, have. You know, like I just normally have that in general. I’m interested in being fun and funny and light and vivacious. Those are all qualities and characteristics that I intend to give off. So I would say, in general, it’s not likely I’m going out a ton if I don’t feel that way, period.
You know, I have a solid Karen inside of me, and I just have to, like, rope her in a lot sometimes and let her come out in my work. I do think it’s a solid, like, not a matter of if but when a video comes out of me asking for a manager. I think that’s probably, like, in a short time. I’m always asking for a manager.
Sam Valentine: I live for this. No, I know what you mean, though. I feel like — also, because everyone has their phone, and, like, is there gonna be a picture taken or a thing done or whatever, and it gets a little — it’s not dicey, but it’s just a high awareness of your existence in space.
