Listen. I got my BFA. I trained all throughout LA, online and in person, and I’ve taken my share of great acting classes and terrible acting classes. I don’t want you to be as lost as I was, so I’m taking you through my philosophy on class and what you might need depending on the level that you are at. There are three categories of people: those with no training, those with some training, and those who have paid significant amounts for a degree in acting (hi: that’s me, thatnks University of Missouri). I’m going into why continuous learning in acting is important, regardless of the current expertise level. We will talk about the types of classes and which might be right for you, and why an audition class might not be the best option at first. I’m also going to share all of my red flags that you need to watch out for, whether online classes are good, and leave you all with a practical guide so you know which class to look for next in your acting journey.
